Notification from Neighbourhood Watch Scotland that in the Edinburgh South area between 9.20am and 10.30am on Tuesday 7th December the garden gate of a property was forced open and an attempt made to force open the lock of the garage door.

The home was unoccupied at the time and fortunately, no access was gained to the garage, but the lock was damaged.

Please be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour to Police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111
