That was two terrible rainstorms we had in the last 24+ hours !

Remember that you can report a blocked siver here at the council website ... and even blocked ones on a straight part of a road being cleared will help to take away the rain from the side of roads and help places which often struggle.

Just a thought.

The online form is easy to use and it works, although in my case it was a long wait. I had submitted the report in January and the blocked gully was only cleaned in June. 🙁
I suspect that the more people submit the request the sooner it gets done.

Interesting - that the one on the corner from your house ?

I reported that one ... in June ... suggests your report was lost or not followed up on !

Arbee, I reported two blockages - one on Grange Terrace, near St Thomas, and one at St. Alban's - St.Thomas crossing. Both requests were not lost, as I received reference numbers in January and then another in late May. The second job was done few days later, at the beginning of June. Not sure about the first one. So, the jobs probably moved up in the queue, or in priority as more people submitted the reports.

I reported one - completely blocked, such that I didn't even see it was one - at the junction of South Lauder Road and St Albans Road on the 18th and it was cleared today (21st).

I have checked and they did the one on the west side too "while they were at it".

It works.
