The Lodge Coffee House at the west end of the Hermitage is serving coffee and scones through a hatch, if you need a reward at the furthest point of your daily exercise.

You'll have seen The Lodge café possibly on the tv the other night - west end of the Hermitage. The guy is selling coffee and scones through a hatch.

Karine's Deli in Morningside Road, likewise - with option of baguettes etc and croissants …

The Grange Takeaway is serving through the … Sausage Hatch" ...

Deli Drop has ceased trading.

"Hello, everyone.

It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I today concluded Deli Drop deliveries for the last time.
Thanks to everyone who used the service. In nine weeks, since the start of lockdown, I made 131 deliveries and saved people a total of 259 journeys to local producers and suppliers.
My aim was always to help people stay at home while they were being instructed to not leave the house, but also to support local businesses, most of whom have adapted really well to the way of living.
Thanks to those who ordered, supported, and spread the word. Special gratitude to my small band of trusty volunteer couriers, namely RD Miller, Bob Bib, and my auntie Nikki, who were magnificent. My real job has become more demanding and many people who were staying indoors are not feeling more freedom to head out to the shops themselves.
It's been fun helping out people who needed assistance in the past couple of months, and especially enjoyable were the deliveries ordered by some on behalf of others as a "thank you" or an "I'm here for you". Truly heartwarming.
Onwards and upwards. Thanks again.

Alex"
