Astley Ainslie League of Friends – Treasurer sought

LEAGUE OF FRIENDS OF THE ASTLEY AINSLIE HOSPITAL

The League of Friends of the Astley Ainslie Hospital was founded in 1978.  It exists to fund items and services for the use of the hospital patients which are outwith the budgetary remit of NHS funding.

“We reach the parts the NHS can’t”!

This small hospital charity is now seeking a new TREASURER.  This post is voluntary and unpaid and might suit someone who would like to be involved in the local community or who wishes to ‘keep their hand in’ and add to their CV.   The applicant should have knowledge of maintaining cash records, preparing and presenting annual accounts and making gift aid claims.

This role is not an arduous one:  the Committee holds five meetings a year and about three low-key fund-raising events.

Interest should be expressed to the Secretary of the League on 01968 672943
