Normal topicIncident at the Carlton Cricket Club

"On Friday 24th January between 1 pm and 2 pm, one of their regular dog-walking members was threatened by two boys walking a black labrador at the cricket ground.

The dog-walker is extremely distressed, as were two of their junior members who witnessed the incident as they were practicing in the nets nearby.

Unfortunately, the description of the dog doesn't match any of current "canine members".

If you have any information that might assist us in identifying the dog-walkers in question, I would be obliged if you could let the local police force know."

Update :
"One of our dog-walking members was threatened by a couple of teenagers when exercising his dog on the cricket ground on 24th January. Fortunately, this is an extremely unusual occurrence.

In order to assist the police, we have been asked to report any suspicious activity by calling “999” - particularly if you spot two teenage boys with a black Labrador wearing a black harness with pink markings.

Please include St. Leonard’s Police Station Incident Number 1977 or mention a recent incident at Carlton Cricket Club.

Kind regards,

Brian Forrester
Membership Secretary, Carlton Cricket Club"

(This incident is also recorded on Safeland)
