There is a planning application for 37 Grange Loan to convert the garage and basement at the rear into living space. The property has access to the rear for vehicles to the garage which is at lower ground floor level. The proposal is to create a second vehicle access, at the front of the property, with hard standing created in the front garden requiring the removal of a large tree. This is the streetview in 2014 . The planning application and its documents can be viewed on the Council's planning portal with reference 19/04931/FUL.

We have submitted this objection to the second vehicle access and to the loss of the front garden and tree.

The closing date for comments on this planning application is 22 November 2019.

The applicants have amended the proposals to remove the proposed hard standing and second vehicle access to the front. The new drawing is marked "Planning space removed for Planning" indicating that the amendment is at the request of the Council's planning officers.

The planning application is now shown as "Awaiting Decision" on the Council's portal indicating that the assessment is complete and a decision is imminent.
