We are looking for local traders to join our Trusted Trader scheme which will launch in the summer of 2015.

Traders from any service (other than the food industry) can apply to join and the sign-up process is simple.

This will be the only trader directory in Edinburgh that is Council-backed and vetted by Trading Standards. It gives traders:

•higher profile
•the ability to reach over 225,000 homes in the city
•use of the Trusted Trader Edinburgh logo on materials and vehicles
•advertising of the Trusted Trader scheme across the city
•the ability for future customers to read reviews of your completed work

The Trusted Trader Scheme has been running in Scotland for over ten years. It has had very good feedback from both traders and residents. In a survey of Dundee City Council Trusted Trader members, 87% had attracted new customers from joining the scheme.

The scheme will be managed by Trusted Directory Services and supported by our Trading Standards service.
